Dr. Wangearned his dental degree from Nanjing Medical University and PhD from West China University of Medical Sciences. After doing postdoctoral research in cancer and bone diseases at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), he discovered his passion for endodontics and went on to complete an endodontic residency at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Facultad de Odontología, where he became experienced in non-surgical root canal treatments, surgical endodontics, vital pulp therapy, endodoncia regenerativas, and managing cracked teeth. Dr. Wang has been a board-certified endodontist (Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics) since 2017. He currently teaches as a Clinical Associate Professor and the assistant program director in Endodontics at Texas A&M University School of Dentistry (Formerly Baylor College of Dentistry).
Dr. Wang is dedicated to professional excellence in both research and clinical endodontics. He serves on both the Research and Scientific Affairs Committee of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) and the Scientific Advisory Board of Revista de endodoncia, the official journal of the AAE.
