Meet Dr. Buxt

A trusted endodontist, Dr. Buxt treats patients part-time at The Endodontic Studio in Dallas, Texas. His approach to patient care is marked by a unique blend of precision, empathy, and genuine concern for the well-being of those he serves.

Dr. Paul Buxt, born in South Africa, practiced general dentistry in South Africa and Israel before earning his Certificate in Endodontics and D.M.D. from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. Prior to joining The Endodontic Studio, he practiced at Highland Park Endodontics for 4 years and The Endodontic Group for almost 25 years. While at The Endodontic Group, Dr. Buxt was instrumental in the growth of both the Dallas and Frisco locations.

In addition, his dental experience includes both didactic and clinical instruction on the endodontic faculty at Temple University and Baylor College of Dentistry. He has also taken part in dental research, which is published in various journals. Dr. Buxt has now taken his clinical and scientific expertise to The Endodontic Studio, where he continues to treat his patients with great care and empathy in a comfortable and technologically advanced environment. This includes the use of microscopes and CBCT (Cone Beam) technology.

Outside of the office, Dr. Buxt enjoys reading, music, golf and travel, and most of all, spending time with family and friends. Dr. Buxt and his wife, Sharon Balaban, have a daughter, a son, and a grandson.

Dr. Buxt has been nominated and recognized by his peers as one of the Best Dentists in Dallas since its inception in D Magazine and has also been inducted into the D Magazine Hall of Fame (15+ years). In addition, he has been chosen as a Texas SuperDentist since 2004 and is a life member of both the American Association of Endodontics and the American Dental Association. Dr. Buxt is happy to call Dallas and Texas his home and has been part of the community for more than 30 years.
